Monument vs. Legacy vs. Memorial

Legacy is merely what is left behind by someone to others. It denotes earthly remains that are now inanimate through loss that must be claimed.

Memorial looks back too much. there is too much sense of loss and sadness.
It will never do.

Monument is an enduring tribute to a person or event. A marker in time to define the space that person or event occupied.

Positive and Enduring Monument is the only term that feels correct.
